Poster Release

Walking through the lanes of the Pash, Sahir and Faiz’s hometown, their words of unity and hope still echo around us. On 23rd march, people from the hometown of Pash, Faiz and Sahir came together to release the poster for ishq, Siyasat aur Awaam scheduled for the 18th and 19th April.

Comrade Navsharan, along with others from Talwandi Salem, the hometown of Pash; Surinder Kailay and friends from Ludhiana, Sahir’s hometown: and Salima Hashmi with others from Lahore, Faiz’s hometown, joined in this collective movement.

Painting Competition:

Across four different painting gatherings organised by Basti Suraksha Kendra and Shehri Kaamgar Mahila Union in association with PIPFPD, as well as in Mangolpuri JJ Block cluster and Gotumpuri, children aged 3–18 came together to paint against war—each bringing their own colours, stories, and quiet understandings of peace. Their artworks imagined peace as homes without fear, dreams yet to unfold, laughter, and skies free from violence. In their strokes—both soft and bold—they not only expressed a longing for a world beyond division and militarisation, but also reminded us that peace is not abstract; it is the right to live, dream, and grow without fear.

Poetry Recitation

Delhi Young Artists’ Forum friends marked the journey of Ishq, Siyasat aur Awam with a moving poetry recitation on 8th April—an expression shaped by words, rhythm, and resistance. Organised by Delhi Young Artists’ Forum as part of the PIPFPD National Convention, the workshop at Bhalswa, Som Bazar Road brought voices together in reflection, dissent, and hope. Through poetry, participants wove together personal and political imaginations of peace, setting the tone for a convention rooted in dialogue, creativity, and collective expression.
