Yun hi hamesha ulajhti rahi hai zulm se khalq
Na un ki rasm nai hai, na apni reet nai
Yun hi hamesha khilaaye hain hum ne aag mein phool

We are living in times when the revolutionary zeal of the anti-colonial and anti-imperialist movements needs to be rekindled in the subcontinent. Hopes, inspiration, and energy need to be reinvented. As South Asia and many parts of the world are shadowed by dark clouds of war, militarisation, jingoism, religious polarisation, and ultra-nationalism, we need to go back to the memory and lives of some of the greatest revolutionaries of our times.
When memories of revolutionaries and patriots are dumped after elections, bodies of soldiers are treated as an easy material to win populism, and when voices of sanity are jailed, disappeared, or eliminated, let us come together to remember the birth anniversary of one of the most loved faces of the South Asian freedom movements, Bhagat Singh.
Join us for an online gathering of conversations and cultural expressions to celebrate the lives of the revolutionary martyrs and to reaffirm our faith in resistance and revolution.
