Today August 5, 2021, is the second anniversary of the day when the BJP abolished the special constitutional status of Jammu and Kashmir and partitioned the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Unfortunately, the legal challenge to the abrogation of Article 370 submitted before the Supreme Court has remained unattended to date.
We request that you join the civil resistance symbolism and wear a black band on August 5 as a mark of solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Also, please take a photo of yourself showing the black band and a small placard saying, “We stand with Jammu & Kashmir” or “in solidarity with the people of J&K”.
